If by chance you didn't know, Scott has packed his bags and headed to South Korea--a country that boasts a rather cranky neighbor, cruddy weather, and, oh yes, a distance of seven thousand and some odd miles from Columbia, SC. We agreed to this back in November...2007. It's been a long time coming, but alas, it's here!
All is well--or at least, well enough. There were many tears before Scott left, but it seems the wells have dried up. The dogs are enjoying their early morning walks, and I am trying desperately to get my academic life back in order. Eating black beans (which like all beans, Scott hates) and rice for the past week hasn't been bad either.
Hopefully, once he gets his computer up and running, Scott will grace us with tales and pictures, but in the meanwhile, all is normal on this practice deployment.
